Accusé de rébellion, un activiste emprisonné au Tchad depuis le 25 avril croupit dans les geôles du régime Deby

Tokama Kemaye a été arrêté le 25 avril dernier avec un groupe de camarades qui ont osé exprimer leur ras-le-bol contre la vie chère et pénurie de gaz butane. Cela, malgré une interdiction du gouvernement tchadien, devenu ces dernières années, hostile aux réclamations populaires.

Ladite marche pacifique avait été prévue pour le 25 avril. Mais à moins de 24 heures de la manifestation, le président du, ayant lancé l’appel fait marche arrière et demande à ses militants de surseoir le soulèvement. En effet, le président avait été interpellé par le service de renseignements qui l’aurait contraint d’apposer sa signature sur le communiqué.

Tokama Kemaye reconduit en prison

Décidés de poursuivre la manifestation pacifique contre vents et marées, Tokama Kemaye et 12 de ses camarades se font interpeller devant l’Assemblée nationale alors qu’ils entamaient ce matin du 25 avril la marche pacifique. Incarcérés dans un commissariat de N’Djamena, pendant quelques jours, 12 des manifestants sont relaxés et leur dossier classé sans suite le 29 avril.

Pour Tokama Kemaye cependant, ce relaxe ne s’applique pas, car disent les autorités, des preuves auraient été fournies à la police, lors de sa détention, pour l’inculper de complité d’atteinte à l’ordre constitutionnel. D’après lesdites preuves, Tokama Kemaye aurait été nommé représentant du groupe rebelle Conseil de commandement militaire pour le salut de la République (CCMSR), dans une correspondance entre l’accusé et le leader de ladite opposition politico-militaire, retranchée dans le Sud libyen.

La famille, amis et avocat préoccupés

Officiellement inculpé le 9 mai dernier, depuis, aucune information sur le cas Tokama Kemaye ne circule. En tout cas, pas publiquement. Sa famille et proches craints une longue mésaventure judiciaire et interrogations musclées dans son lieu de détention qui serait la maison d’arrêt d’Amsinéné dans le 1er arrondissement de la ville de N’Djamena. Ils appellent le gouvernement tchadien à faire preuve de compassion, mais surtout d’étendre l’amnistie présidentielle annoncée par le chef de l’État Idriss Deby lors de la promulgation de la 4e République le 4 mai 2018, si, bien évidemment les investigations soutiennent l’accusation contre la personne de Tokama Kemaye.

Un de ses avocats, se dit aussi préoccupé par la lenteur de la justice, surtout dans un cas pareil. « Nous ne nous attendions aucunement à la qualification qui a été donnée aux faits. On s’attendait soit à un classement sans suite, soit à la correctionnalisation des faits de sorte à ce qu’il soit renvoyé devant une juridiction correctionnelle pour statuer sur son sort. Étant donné que le juge d’instruction instruit à charge et à décharge, nous gardons espoir qu’il puisse instruire véritablement à décharge pour que monsieur Kemaye puisse recouvrer sa liberté dans un bref délai. Parce que nous avons une très grande inquiétude : la lenteur judiciaire » avait déclaré Me Frédéric Nanadjingué.

Mobilisation des activistes 

Plusieurs activistes et défenseurs des droits humains ont exhorté la justice tchadienne à le libérer, certains évoquant une nativité du détenu vis-à-vis de Kingabé Ogouzeimi de Tapol, le leader rebelle qui lui aurait fourni le document de nomination au sein du CCMSR.
