Conflit éleveurs/agriculteurs : un couvre-feu instauré dans le Mayo Kebbi Est.

BRÈVE | Suite aux meurtrières confrontations entre les éleveurs et les agriculteurs dans le département de la Kabbia, le gouverneur de la province du Mayo Kebbi Est Bachar Ali Souleymane a instauré hier 25 novembre un couvre feu d’une semaine de 19h à 5h du matin dans les zones de conflit : canton Bérem, sous-préfecture de Bérem, Pont Carol, canton Tagal, sous-préfecture de Djodo Gassa et dans la sous-préfecture de Gounou Gaya rapporte Alwihda info. Le couvre feu se justifie par la « nécessité impérieuse du maintien de l’ordre » explique le gouverneur. À l’heure actuelle, les affrontements laissent une image sombre de cette partie du pays. Plusieurs hommes tués dont des enfants, des villages saccagés et incendiés, des provisions alimentaires détruites, des engins brûlés, des animaux calcinés, bref, la désolation est à son comble.
