Le forum dédié aux investisseurs du monde arabe a été ouvert ce mercredi 26 juin dans la capitale tchadienne.

Le coup d’envoi a été donné par le chef de l’État, Idriss Deby Itno, devant une foule d’investisseurs réunis à l’hôtel Hilton de N’Djamena.

« Le Tchad est une opportunité de croissance où l’on peut y investir, sécuriser son investissement et le rentabiliser. C’est à juste titre, que nous misons sur le renforcement du partenariat et des investissements pour assurer la transformation durable de notre système productif. » a déclaré le chef de l’État dans son discours d’ouverture.

Pour Idriss Deby, l’heure est idéale pour les investisseurs de s’intéresser davantage dans les opportunités dont regorge le Tchad.

Outre des « terres arables [estimées] à plus de 30 millions d’hectares », le Tchad brille à travers l’élevage avec « plus de 100 millions de têtes », en plus des secteurs miniers, pétroliers, et des nouvelles technologies.

Premier forum consacré à la promotion du potentiel tchadien, « Tchad-Monde Arabe » se déroule jusqu’au 28 juin.
