Le Tchad accueille la première édition d’un salon panafricain de l’agriculture

Safagri, est le nom du salon panafricain qui aura lieu dans la capitale tchadienne, N’Djamena, du 12 au 15 mars prochain.

Salon dédié exclusivement à l’agriculture, il a été initié par le Comité Inter-États de lutte contre la sécheresse au Sahel (CILSS), pour élaborer des stratégies dans l’optique d’améliorer les chaînes de valeurs agricoles.

Safagri (Salon africain de l’agriculture) devrait réunir plus de 25 000 visiteurs selon les organisateurs. Aussi, seront présents au rendez-vous, des délégations nationales venues de par l’Afrique pour se concerter sur les opportunités dans le secteur agricole, dans le but de faire du continent africain un acteur mondial clé de l’agriculture.

C’est donc naturellement que le Tchad abrite cette édition inaugurale tant pour ses potentialités agricoles que pour les défis géographiques auxquels il est confronté, parmi lesquels la désertification.

Safagri aura lieu au Palais du 15 janvier.
