RD Congo : l’ambassadeur italien à Kinshasa tué par balles

Le gouvernement italien par la voix de son ministère des Affaires étrangères a confirmé ce lundi une attaque sur un convoi des Nations unies (Monusco) , qui a entraîné à la mort de son ambassadeur à Kinshasa, Luca Attanasio, 43 ans, un militaire italien, et leur chauffeur.

L’attaque sur le convoi a eu lieu près de la ville de Goma, dans l’est de la République démocratique du Congo.

Luca Attanasio était en poste depuis 2018. Ce lundi, il a succombé dans un hôpital de suite de blessures “par balles à l’abdomen”.

Une “attaque lâche” selon le président italien, joignant sa voix aux nombreuses dénonciations faites par son gouvernement.
