Tchad : confrontée à une grogne populaire, la junte militaire annonce un dialogue inclusif pour une sortie de crise

Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno | Présidence de la République du Tchad

Confronté à une série de ras-le-bol citoyen, le Conseil militaire de transition (CMT), a fini par tendre la main aux forces vives du pays pour une sortie apaisée de crise. “Je serai le garant de ce dialogue qui n’éludera aucun sujet d’intérêt national…” a promis le chef de la junte militaire, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, dans un premier message à la nation diffusé hier à la télévision nationale.

Un gouvernement de réconciliation nationale

Dans la foulée, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, a aussi annoncé la formation d’un “gouvernement de réconciliation nationale, composée d’une équipe soudée, compétente et représentative du Tchad pluriel.”

Lundi, la primature supprimée en 2018 sous la présidence de Deby-père été restaurée. Le nouveau premier ministre est nul autre que Pahimi Padacké Albert, candidat malheureux à la présidentielle du 11 avril dernier et ancien haut cadre de l’administration défunte. Les membres de l’équipe gouvernementale seront aussi connus au cours de la semaine courante a promis le CMT.

Pressions locales et internationales

Cette sortie médiatique du CMT et son rétropédalage font suite à plusieurs condamnations des répressions violentes de manifestations pacifiques pour une transition civile et constitutionnelle hier ayant occasionnées une dizaine de morts et de nombreux blessés.

Cet usage de force a été aussitôt condamné par la France, les États-Unis et le Canada.

Les partis politiques de l’opposition et organisations civiles ont appelé leurs militants à sortir massivement de nouveau ce mercredi.
