La ville pétrolière du Tchad, Doba, au sud du pays dans la province du Logone Oriental a accueilli 15 octobre la Journée mondiale dédiée à la célébration et valorisation de la femme rurale. Au Tchad où plus de la moitié de la population est du gent féminine, beaucoup d’activistes et observateurs ont à l’occasion de ce mouvement annuel appelé à une inclusion radicale de la femme à tous les niveaux administratifs et stratégiques de la gestion de la chose publique pour un développement intégral qui reflète les réalités locales, nationales et internationales. La scolarisation, le respect des droits de la femme et l’emploi ont fait écho dans plusieurs interventions durant le weekend et au cours de ladite Journée.

Le rapport Doing Business de la Banque Mondiale pour l’année 2018 classe toujours le Tchad presqu’au fin fond de la liste. C’est la 180e place qu’occupe cette année le pays, à l’image de l’année 2017. Visiblement le passage à la Quatrieme République et les multiples réformes ont eu aucun effet concret (encore) sur le climat des affaires. Que faut-il réformer de plus afin de créer un climat de confiance entre le Gouvernement, le secteur privé et les consammateurs ?

?? La Somalie exécute l’auteur de l’attentat le plus meurtrier de son histoire et celui de l’Afrique

14 octobre 2017, ce sont plus de 600 personnes qui on péri dans l’attentat le plus meurtrier en Somalie et en Afrique. L’auteur avait utilisé un camion remplit d’explosifs dans l’une des intersection les plus populaires de la capitale Mogadiscio. Bilan, plus de 600 victimes. Un an après, 14 octobre 2018, l’auteur a été exécuté et l’intersection du crime horrifique rebaptisé carrefour du 14 octobre, notamment à la mémoire des victimes.
