Covid-19 : l’armée préconise offrir 7.500.000 masques à la population.

[BRÈVE] : L’armée est à pied d’œuvre dans la lutte contre la Covid-19. Hier 04 novembre, 3.000.000 de masques grand public ont été remis au ministère de l’éducation et celui de l’enseignement supérieur à destination des élèves et des étudiants. Pour le ministre de la défense et de la sécurité nationale, Mahamat Abali Salah, la mission première de l’armée n’est pas seulement de protéger et de défendre la population mais aussi d’être présente dans les actions sociales.

7.500.000 masques sont en train d’être confectionnés par la  manufacture d’équipement militaire pour servir la population tchadienne dans les prochains jours. Ainsi, ce sera au total 10.500.000 masques qui seront distribués à la population. Cette initiative est le fruit d’une collaboration entre la manufacture d’équipement militaire, la Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) et la Banque Islamique de Développement (BID).
