Célébration de la journée mondiale de la langue arabe ce 18 décembre

Étant un pays bilingue, le Tchad célèbre lui aussi la Journée mondiale de la langue arabe. C’est depuis 2012, que cette journée est observée par les pays dont l’arabe est un pilier de la diversité culturelle et linguistique.

La journée du 18 décembre coïncide en effet avec le jour où l’Organisation des Nations unies (ONU) a adopté en 1973 l’arabe pour sixième langue de travail.

Au Tchad, en prélude à ladite journée, une conférence internationale s’est ouverte depuis hier au Palais du 15 janvier par l’Académie de la langue arabe au Tchad. Le thème est notamment « L’arabisation au Tchad, moyens, problèmes et solutions ».
