“Déguisé” en soldat, le président tchadien descend sur le front de la lutte-anti terroriste dans la région du Lac Tchad

N’DJAMENA 24 | Idriss Deby Itno a temporairement rangé sa casquette de locataire du palais rose en faveur de celle d’un soldat en colère. Arrivé dans la province du Lac, à l’Ouest du Tchad le 24 mars dernier, le Chef suprême des armées refuse de regagner son palais présidentiel à N’Djamena tant que la secte islamique Boko Haram ne mordra la poussière. 

Installé désormais dans la région du Lac Tchad, l’homme d’État dirige lui-même l’opération de riposte baptisée “Colère de Bohoma”, d’après le nom de la localité où 98 soldats tchadiens ont été tués le 23 mars dernier par ladite secte lors d’un violent accrochage qui a duré plusieurs heures.

Dans la même optique de lutte anti-terroriste, un décret instituant une “zone de guerre” dans deux départements de la province du Lac a été signé par le Chef de l’État, le 26 mars dernier. 

Par ailleurs, trois jours de deuil national ont été décrétés du 25 au 28 mars, en la mémoire des soldats tués.
