Un forum national sur la refondation de l’école tchadienne devrait avoir lieu d’ici décembre de cette année, à en croire les autorités du pays chargées de l’éducation.

L’on apprend que ce week-end écoulé, le ministère de l’Éducation nationale et de la Promotion civique a organisé un pré-forum, dans la ville de Koumra, dans le sud du Tchad, où a été célébrée simultanément la Journée nationale de la jeunesse.

Un système éducatif qui peine à se valoriser

Le système éducatif tchadien, depuis l’indépendance du pays en 1960, demeure récalcitrant malgré les nombreuses tentatives de restructuration du département en charge et des critiques constructions des observateurs apolitiques.

Contre leur gré, les écoliers tchadiens n’ont autre choix que de subir les conséquences très néfastes qui sont : les années élastiques, des interminables bras de fer entre un gouvernement qui n’honore pas ses engagements et des enseignants frustrés, mais aussi des chantiers inachevés de par le pays et des conditions d’études qui ne répondent pas aux déontologies bien établies.

Comment digérer le fait que même dans la ville-capitale de N’Djamena, des écoliers sont entassés dans les salles de classes en pailles et boue, par les centaines, et cela depuis des décennies alors que le pays disposait dès son indépendance d’un ministère chargé de l’éducation, dont les prérogatives et un budget colossale sont clairement définis ?

Avec un taux de réussite au baccalauréat qui atteint à peine 20 %, le Tchad se classe parmi les pays africains dont le système éducatif est non pas médiocre, mais moribond !

Le résultat, est la fuite des étudiants, bacheliers, et écoliers vers les pays voisins ou l’Europe pour une formation professionnelle digne d’un avenir radieux.
