Tchad : doit-on s’attendre à des émeutes dans les prochains jours ?

Depuis quelques jours, le climat sociopolitique semble être tendu au pays de Toumaï. Dans la ville de N’Djamena, on remarque des installations d’importants dispositifs militaires des forces anti-émeute à certains carrefours mais aussi devant les résidences de quelques poids lourds de l’opposition. La population s’inquiète et l’on redoute des violences.

Mahamat-Ahmad Alhabo patron du Parti pour les Libertés et le Développement (PLD), Succès Masra président des Transformateurs, Saleh Kebzabo chef de l’UNDR et quelques hauts cadres de ces trois formations politiques sont tous placés ces derniers jours sous résidence surveillée. Les activités ou réunions sont empêchées dans leur siège respectif. Leurs moindres gestes et mouvements sont scrutés par les agents de l’ANS qui les suivent à bord de motos et de voitures dans la ville de N’Djamena. Pire, chez Saleh Kebzabo, les forces de l’ordre installent ce qui s’apparente à un état de siège. Ces derniers ont barricadé les entrées de son domicile et choisissent à leur bon vouloir qui doit rentrer et sortir de la concession. L’ex chef de file de l’opposition dit ne pas être inquiété par cette situation qu’il considère comme une simple provocation.

Du côté des Transformateurs, le climat est bien plus tendu. Assigné à résidence, Succès Masra appelle ses plus de 100.000 partisans à une résistance et à une désobéissance civile contre les dérives dictatoriales du pouvoir en place. Même son de cloche pour le PLD qui invite ses membres à se mobiliser et à défier l’injustice de la mouvance présidentielle.

Pourquoi toutes ces tensions ? Chaque camp avance ses arguments.

Pour les opposants numéro 01 du régime actuel, ces agitations seraient une tentative d’intimidation en vue de déjouer le contre-forum que l’opposition entend organiser d’ici peu à contrario du deuxième Forum National Inclusif qui n’est que du folklore selon eux.

La police elle balaie d’un revers de main toutes les explications avancées par l’opposition. D’après elle, ces dispositions sécuritaires ont pour seul but de faire respecter les mesures barrières pour stopper la propagation du Coronavirus. Elle sous-entend empêcher les attroupements qui sont considérés comme des vecteurs de transmission rapide de la maladie. Pourtant, le forum national a réuni pendant 04 jours 600 participants sans un véritable respect de mesures barrières.

Toutes ces agitations observées ces derniers jours qui ne relèvent pas du quotidien des N’Djamenois ressemblent plus ou moins à des prémices de dures confrontations entre le régime d’Idriss Deby Itno et l’opposition insoumise, qui s’obstine à tenir le contre-forum.
