La compagnie aérienne nationale tchadienne, Tchadia Airlines, fondée des cendres de ses prédécesseurs, le 7 août 2018, crée de la polémique sur les réseaux sociaux.
Les critiques se sont, au départ, portées sur le service, mais récemment, des voix s’élèvent pour alerter les hautes autorités du pays sur le danger imminent que présentent certains appareils volants de la compagnie.
Un ex fidèle usager de la compagnie étatique, pas trop satisfait, est contraint de faire recours au réseau social Facebook, afin d’interpeller le ministre tchadien du Transport sur l’état trop archaïque de certains avions qu’utilise Tchadia Airlines.
Ces avions dits trop usés, affrétés auprès de son partenaire technique, Ethiopian Airlines, s’arrêtent tout d’un coup sur la piste en plein processus de décollage. Il faut par la suite, une trentaine de minutes au moins et les bricolages d’un mécanicien, devenu membre permanent de l’équipage, pour les faire décoller, notamment avec retard, mais surtout dans la panique totale des passagers.
« Je voudrais parler du seul Boeing qui fait les navettes. J’ai pris ce vol près de 15 fois. Je suis un de vos fidèles clients. Mais depuis plus d’un mois, je préfère renouer avec nos bus. Cet avion tombe en panne presque tous les jours, en pleine piste. Lorsqu’il prend son élan pour prendre la vitesse nécessaire au décollage, les moteurs lâchent. En pleine piste. Le mécanicien à bord prend une trentaine de minutes pour le bricoler. Devant les passagers tous angoissés. Cela s’est passé plusieurs fois. Et si c’était en plein vol ? »
Un danger minimisé par l’équipage
Dans sa lettre d’alerte au ministère tchadien du Transport et l’Autorité de l’aviation civile du Tchad (ADAC), Me Kagonbe Alain, promet de saisir la justice afin de contraindre les responsables de la compagnie nationale à immobiliser le Boeing qui présente un sérieux danger aux usagers et l’équipage, malgré que celle-ci minimise le danger, comme quoi, des pannes ont été observées lors d’un passage à Douala et si l’avion a pu continuer son trajet sans crainte, il peut davantage servir la compagnie.
Mais pour Me Kagonbe Alain, désormais ex fidèle client, qui a décidé de renouer avec les bus en dépit des conditions de routes inter-villes presqu’impraticables : « un avion inapte à la navigation aérienne doit immédiatement être envoyé en révision. Après avoir constaté plusieurs fois que le monteur lâchait juste sur la piste au moment de décollage, pourquoi l’équipage s’entête-t-elle à faire naviguer cet avion ? Pourquoi insiste-t-on pour arriver à une situation de décrochage ? Pourquoi doit-on faire décoller vaille que vaille un avion fatigué et en panne ? Moi je ne prendrai plus ce cercueil volant jusqu’à ce que vous obligiez Ethiopian Airlines à vous remettre un avion acceptable. » écrit-il.
En sa qualité de défenseur des droits humains, l’avocat conclut : “je ne conseillerai aucun membre de ma famille, aucun ami, aucun confrère ni aucun concitoyen à prendre cet avion.”
Tchadia Airlines, en partenariat avec Ethiopian Airlines a été officiellement lancée le 1er octobre l’année dernière pour désenclaver le Tchad, mais aussi s’imposer comme compagnie sous-régionale de choix, grâce à l’expertise éthiopienne. Mais depuis son vol inaugural, la compagnie a été la cible de plusieurs critiques tant pour sa vieille flotte et partenariat, qualifié par certains commentateurs de “marché de dupe”.
