Tchad : le nouveau leader politique, Succès Masra menacé de mort

« Ce sont des menaces, des intimidations, des menaces de mort » a déclaré l’un des quatre vice-présidents du parti politique officiellement établi le 15 mai dernier.

Succès Masra, l’économiste démissionnaire de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), converti en politicien, est depuis le lancement de son mouvement politique Les Transformateurs, la cible d’attaques récurrentes.

Le 1er juin dernier, alors que son mouvement avait prévu une conférence de présentation, interdite par les autorités, son convoi essuye des tirs de grenades lacrymogènes. Mais Succès Masra, atteint et blessé, s’écroule. L’assistance médicale faisant partie de son convoi le conduit d’urgence dans le QG de son parti politique où il est réanimé. 

Le 2 juin, sur son profil Twitter, il indique « touché, mais débout pour continuer la lutte de transformation du Tchad. Notre ennemi, c’est l’injustice. Notre adversaire, c’est le sous-développement. Notre seule ambition, c’est servir le Tchad. » Il insiste et signe « Les Transformateurs sont parti politique le 15 mai 2019 », défiant la décision du ministère de l’Administration du territoire, de la Sécurité publique et de la Gouvernante locale, de rejeter de son dossier d’officialisation. Pour cause, Les Transformateurs ont parmi l’équipe dirigeante des “conseillers” ayant moins de 30 ans.
