Double attentat au Niger : bilan revu à la hausse, au moins 100 civils tués

Au Niger, le « bilan désastreux » de l’attaque terroriste perpétrée dans deux villages s’élève désormais à 100 morts selon le Premier ministre nigérien, Brigi Rafini.

Samedi dernier, le bilan provisoire faisait état de 56 morts et une vingtaine de blessés, dans les deux villages de Tchombangou et Zaroumdareye, près de la frontière malienne. 

Selon une source présidentielle, le Chef d’Etat nigérien, Mahamadou Issoufou dirigera un conseil national de sécurité exceptionnel ce lundi matin, à cet effet. 

Hier, le président a adressé ses condoléances aux familles des victimes : « Je voudrais au nom du peuple nigérien et en mon nom propre adresser nos condoléances les plus émues aux populations de Tchombangou et Zaroumdareye, suite à l’attaque lâche et barbare de leur village. Que l’âme des disparus repose en paix et prompt rétablissement aux blessés », avait-il écrit sur le réseau social Twitter.
