Ils sont près de 400 étudiants tchadiens, envoyés en Russie à la solde de l’État tchadien, pour poursuivre leur cursus universitaire. Depuis cinq, ils sont abandonnés, oubliés et ignorés par ceux qui sont à l’origine de leur déplacement au pays de Vladimir Poutine. Ils sont livrés à eux-mêmes et vivent un calvaire non des moindres. Beaucoup d’entre eux ont dû quitter les salles de classe, afin de trouver un job pour survivre. Il y en a qui sont atteints de la Tuberculose à cause du froid et des mauvaises conditions de vie dans lesquelles ils se trouvent. Après avoir contacté N’DJAMENA 24, un représentant de ces étudiants se livre à nous sans langue de bois. [INTERVIEW]

NDJ24 : Bonjour, pourriez-vous vous présentez à ceux qui nous lisent présentement ?

Bonjour N’DJAMENA 24.
Je m’appelle Ahmat Tahir Bakhit, je suis étudiant en 3ème année de Cadastre et aménagement du territoire, et chargé des nouveaux arrivés et de dialogue social de l‘Union Générale des Étudiants et stagiaires tchadiens en Russie.
Je voudrais d’abord saisir cette occasion pour remercier NDJAMENA 24 pour l’opportunité qu’il nous offre pour parler de notre situation.

NDJ24 : Dans une lettre adressée au gouvernement tchadien le 02 décembre dernier, votre collectif parle des « difficultés financières très critiques » des étudiants tchadiens en Russie. Qu’est-ce qui se passe concrètement ? Êtes-vous à la solde du gouvernement tchadien ?

Les étudiants tchadiens en Fédération de Russie vivent un véritable calvaire, ça fait 5 ans que nous n’avons rien bénéficié du bourse de la part du gouvernement tchadien. Nous avons utilisé tous les moyens possibles parmi lesquels, nous avons envoyé plusieurs doléances au ministère en charge de l’enseignement supérieur, nous avons même soumis notre doléance au ministère des affaires étrangères à l’époque, Chérif Mahamat Zene lors de la visite du Président de la République en Russie lors du sommet Russie-Afrique. Il nous a promis dès qu’il rentre au pays il va parler avec son homologue en charge de l’enseignement supérieur et nous trouver une solution, mais hélas c’était juste des beaux discours et des belles promesses. Oui nous sommes des boursiers de l’État et nous sommes à peu prés 400 étudiants.

NDJ24 : Comment faites-vous pour tenir actuellement, vu que vous n’avez plus accès à vos bourses de subside ?

Nous souffrons énormément, les conditions de vie sont très difficiles en Russie (faim, fraîcheur, difficultés liées aux études…) vous savez ici c’est très difficile de travailler en tant qu’étudiant, mais il y a ceux qui ne supportent pas ils partent quand même travailler, ce qui fait que chaque année on entend plus de trois étudiants exclus de l‘université. Mais aussi le nombre alarmant des étudiants atteints de la tuberculose qui augmente chaque année. Ici il fait extrêmement froid en Hiver et si tu ne manges pas bien, tu peux facilement attraper la tuberculose.

NDJ24 : Que disent les autorités russes en charge de l’enseignement sur votre cas ?

Pour les autorités russes eux ils ne font pas grand chose, vu que nous ne sommes pas boursiers de l’État russe mais plutôt de l’État tchadien. Mais quand même ils font un peu d’effort en nous donnant chaque fin de mois une somme de 1500 rouble équivalent de 15000 Fcfa, c’est avec ça que tu dois payer 1000 pour le logement au campus ça c’est le prix le plus moins cher, dans certains universités ont paye même plus et 400 pour le transport, sans oublier aussi le frais du visa(1600 rouble) annuel qui doit obligatoirement payer et l’assurance maladie(4000 à 17000 rouble). Alors dites moi comment peut on faire pour vivre avec seulement 1500 rouble par mois si tes parents n’ont pas le moyen de t’envoyer quelque chose chaque fin de mois ? Et vous savez la majeure partie des étudiants tchadiens en Russie sont issus d’une famille modeste, je dis cela en connaissence de cause, car j’ai géré le département des affaires sociales au sein de l’union générale des étudiants et stagiaires tchadiens en Russie pendant une année et demi, donc il n’y a pas une personne qui était aussi proche des étudiants que moi. Pris par le piège des difficultés financières, les étudiants n’ont pas d’autres choix que de chômé les cours et partir travailler pour subvenir à leur besoin, et cela engendre les expulsions de l’université. Ici chaque année, plus de 5 étudiants sont exclus de l’université. Au final qui est perdant ? le pays bien sûr. Pourtant le Président de la République Idriss Deby Itno n’a pas manqué une occasion pour souligner que la jeunesse fait partie de sa préoccupation. Et cela nous emmène toujours à se poser la question si les étudiants boursiers en Russie ne font pas partie de cette jeunesse dont il parle.

NDJ24 : Et l’ambassade du Tchad en Russie, que fait-elle dans cette affaire ?

L’ambassade ne joue pas pleinement son rôle comme il se doit, eux ils sont là pour nous et ils devraient multiplier les efforts pour nous faire sortir de cette souffrance là. Eux aussi ils ont étudiés ici en Russie, donc ils sont mieux placés pour comprendre notre situation plus que nous même. Si demain il n’y aura plus des étudiants ici, même l’ambassade n’aura rien à faire en Russie, vu que tout ce qui vivent en Russie, sont là seulement pour les études.

NDJ24 : Supposons que le ministre de l’enseignement supérieur est en train de nous lire. Que lui direz-vous ?

Je voudrais demander à notre gouvernement par le biais du ministre en charge de l’enseignement supérieur de trouver une solution. Il y’a parmi nous des enfants de pauvres dont les parents ne sont pas en mesure de prendre en charge, ils y a ceux qui sont atteints par la tuberculose parce qu’ils n’ont pas de quoi se nourrir et il fait vraiment froid en Russie, il ya ceux qui sont exclus de l’université et qui vivent ici en situation irrégulière depuis des années. Même ceux dont les parents avaient une situation stable ont aussi d’énormes problèmes en cette période de pandémie, le Coranavirus a impacté toutes les familles. Aidez-nous, nous sommes aussi des tchadiens. Selon moi, en nous ignorant nous étudiants et futurs cadres de ce pays de cette manière, je pense que le gouvernement lui-même contribue à la destruction de l’avenir du Tchad.

Y a des hommes de parole au Tchad ? Tu prend l’enfant de quelqu’un pour le jetter hors de son pays. Vaut mieux de le tuer dans son territoire afin qu’il soit enterré ses parents.
