Tchad: assignation à résidence des leaders politiques et sociaux, le MCT s’indigne.

Depuis maintenant plusieurs jours, de nombreux opposants et leaders de la société civile, à l’instar de Saleh Kebzabo, Succès Masra, Mahamat-Ahmad Alhabo pour ne citer que ceux-là, sont assignés à résidence et les sièges de leurs partis politiques quadrillés par la police. Tout récemment, les Transformateurs ont fait l’objet d’une violente attaque policière à gaz lacrymogène. Face à cette situation qui dégénère de plus en plus, des voix s’élèvent pour appeler au calme ou condamner le comportement de la police qui ébranle la démocratie tchadienne.

Parvenu à notre rédaction, un communiqué de presse du Mouvement Citoyen le Temps (MCT) révèle que ces exactions sont dues au fait que l’opposition « s’apprête à organiser un forum (à contrario du forum national inclusif) avec la diaspora ». À cet effet, « Le Mouvement Citoyen le Temps, parti prenant à l’initiative condamne vigoureusement cette pratique dictatoriale et invite le gouvernement à libérer l’espace démocratique en levant immédiatement les cordons policiers devant les sièges des partis politiques Les Transformateurs, l’UNDR et le PLD ainsi qu’aux domiciles des leaders de ces formations politiques, sans occulter les filatures accrues sur les responsables des autres corporations impliquées dans l’organisation du forum citoyen. Le Mouvement Citoyen leTemps exprime sa solidarité à toutes ces victimes de la barbarie du régime agonisant de Idriss Deby et appelle les forces vives à resserrer les rangs face à l’arbitraire installé dans notre pays« .
